7.25" Project This model is built with Maid of Kent cylinders and has a part built boiler and very small wheels. No plans ,sketch drawings or anything to help with the design £225.00 |
| 7.25" gauge 3" scale quarry Hunslet 'Elidir' castings, frame steel and a full set of drawings which will make a pleasant, smaller model, of one of these popular narrow gauge locomotives. An extremely good start for someone at a lot less that retail price. £650.00 |
| 5" gauge LNER A3 pacific This is an A3 chassis built to the Clarkson design with 3 cylinders and the correct valve gear. It has slide valves unlike the Don Young design with piston valves. There is a boiler kit that could go with this model and we could provided copies of the Clarkson drawings to allow completion. Please discuss this with us if you are interested. |
5" Simplex This model has a very well built chassis which runs on air and is basically complete and a boiler which has a hydraulic certificate for the initial test. £1395 |
5" gauge Outside cylinder 'Maid of Kent' A good start with an almost air running chassis and a professionally built boiler from R.Chambers.£1800.00 |
This is almost certainly a pre-war model in need of some one to love it. 5" gauge tank of the 0-4-2 wheel arrangement, the model has outside cylinders and inside slip-eccentric valve gear, which is simple and easy to use. Almost all the model, except the boiler is here, and I am sure someone will have fun with this 5" gauge tank engine. Built to a larger than standard loading gauge so quite a big model. £575.00 |
Typical 'DORIS' except that the model is built with slide valves and we are sure that the motion requires modification to suit this setup. The boiler has been given a hydraulic test and is sound.£1795 SOLD |
| 3.5" 2-6-4 Tank. This chassis is probably built to Martin Evan's design for Jubilee but the boiler has been made to allow someone to built the Fowler version of a 2 cylinder LMS 2-6-4 tank. Nicely constructed with a chassis which might run on air and a boiler which I will have tested but looks serviceable. £1195 |
3.5" Gauge Princess Marina. I have a choice of three partbuilt models at different stages, one of which has no tender. The other two both have tenders and boiler kits. All are on almost complete chassis. Please discuss your requirements with me about this selection. |
Another 3.5" 'Rob Roy' Not a advanced as the model above but also a well built chassis which is close to completion together with smokebox, chimney, dome and a start on the plate work for the cab.£475 |
2.5" 4-4-0 chassis with all the internal valve gear, cylinder, steam chests and main driving wheels and axles. These are in quite rusty condition but with careful restoration the main items can be salvaged. £125 SOLD |
